It’s a 15 game schedule on this Friday, June 9. The Cubs & Rockies play in the afternoon, but the rest of the schedule starts at 7:05 EST.
Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups. From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball. The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.
If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track. Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:
Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 6/9/17:
Garret: Jose Altuve is 10 for 26 with three homers off of Matt Shoemaker. Shoemaker has a 14.6% HR/FB and is giving up 1.73 HR/9 so far this year and 7 of the 13 homeruns have come from righties. He’s also giving up 36.8% Hard contact.
Chris: It’s nearly impossible to ignore Jordan Zimmermann pitching in Fenway. Zim has been putrid this season. He hasn’t seen the 7th inning. Out of his 11 starts, he’s given up less than 4 runs only 3 times. He’s given up 2+ home runs in 5 of those starts. The Sox righties are tempting, but I’ll take Andrew Benintendi to go yard today. Entering Thursday’s finale against the Yanks, he had homered 3 times in his last 3 games, so he’s finding his power stroke again.
