Johnny G’s MLB DraftKings & FanDuel Home Run Predictions 7-27-17

It’s an 8 game slate Thursday on July 27th.  There’s a 3 game day slate featuring Scherzer facing the Brew Crew and Manaea visiting Stroman.  During the evening portion, Archer faces Sabathia in the Bronx.  Manaea vs. Stroman in Toronto could be interesting.  Also, Lester will visit the White Sox.

Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups.  From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball.  The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track.  Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:Hammer wins Fanduel contest

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 7/27/17:

Chris: Chris Archer has had a string of good starts.  He’s scored at least 39 FanDuel points in his last 4.  The thing about Archer though is he always seems to give up runs and the Yankees have good career numbers against the Tampa ace.  Active Yankees are hitting .285 against him in 174 PAs.  The stat that convinced me was Archer’s flyball rate.  It’s up to 48% over his last 2 starts; a huge increase over his season long average.  There may be no hotter pinstriper than Didi Gregorius.  He’s hit in 10 of the last 11 games, including multiple hits in 5 of those games and 5 home runs.

The price is creeping up, but Bradley Zimmer is on a serious heater.  Even so, he’s still only $3k on FanDuel hitting from the leadoff position.  His ownership is through the roof, but he’s put up over 87 FD points his last 2 games.  It’s tough to replace those points if you take a ‘fade the chalk’ strategy.  Ride it out.
