Friday, July 28 brings everyone back into action. Dallas Keuchel returns in a lopsided matchup with Jordan Zimmermann. We have Vargas vs. Price in Fenway. Robbie Ray takes the mound in St. Louis. We’ll see what kind of bounce back Alex Wood has against a light hitting SF squad that has decent BvP numbers against him.
Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups. From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball. The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 7/28/17:
Garret: Today I’m picking Freddie Freeman. Jeremy Hellickson is giving up 1.76 HR/9, and has already given up 22 dongs this year! Freeman is hitting with 38% Hard contact and a career high 28.6 HR/FB. Big leaguers are contributing dong success to the new study of “Launch Angle”, and Freddy’s got it down. I’m buying!
Alex: Corey Dickerson is 8-18 vs Tanaka with 3 dingers. Corey only has 1 HR in July, but I attribute it to bad luck because his fly ball % is up 3% from his season average and his hard hit rate is the same as its been all season at 34.9%. Tanaka has been plagued by the long ball all season and July hasn’t been any different with his 20.8% HR/FB and 1.8 HR/9.
Chris: Derek Holland has been having a rough go of it lately. His last 3 starts have yielded 16 runs and 7 home runs, averaging less than 5 IP. He has a season mark of 1.967 HR/9. Now, E5 is the chalky pick since he’s 7 for 20 with 3 dongs off Holland, but that’s too easy. I’m taking Carlos Santana today. He’s a respectable 7 for 28 with 2 HRs and only 4 strikeouts against the lefty in 32 PAs. He has 3 dongs in his last 4 games, including one yesterday.
