Johnny G’s MLB DraftKings & FanDuel Home Run Predictions 8-31-17

The regular season finishes August with 10 games.  The day slate will have 4 games, main slate has 6 games.

Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups.  From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball.  The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track.  Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:Hammer wins Fanduel contest

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 8/31/17:

Alex: Jeremy Hellickson has given up 7 HRs over his last 5 starts ( 5HRs against righties), 49.5% flyball and a 30.3% hard hit.  Today he gets Josh Donaldson and the Blue Jays.  Donaldson has 9 HRs, .397 ISO, .692 SLG and a .451 wOBA in August vs RHP.  I think he takes Hellickson deep once, if not twice, in this game.

Chris: Michael Wacha has given up 14 runs in his last 3 starts, including 4 HRs.  Brandon Crawford is 6 for 8 with 4 XBHs lifetime vs. Wacha.  He’s also been swinging a productive bat lately.  He has hits in 12 of his last 14 games with 5 doubles and 3 dongs.  Over the last 2 weeks, Crawford’s hard contact rate is all the way up to 48%.  That’s 15 points higher than his yearlong average.
