There will be 15 games on Wednesday, September 13th, including a tidy 3 game day slate. Yankees/Rays, Tigers/Indians, and White Sox/Royals play in the afternoon. The 12 game main slate will feature Mad Max, McCullers, Darvish, Lester, and Chase Anderson toeing the rubber.
Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups. Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 9/13/17:
Garret: Just since September 1st, Francisco Lindor has 2 doubles, 2 triples, and 4 home runs. Make that 5 home runs; he literally just hit one as I write this. He will be no sleeper pick by any means when he faces off against Buck Farmer. The Indians are rolling and scoring runs at a ridiculous rate. Lindor has led the way, slugging .733 in September with a 23% HR/FB ratio. In 7 games this year, Farmer has given up 6 dongs with a 6.32 ERA. If you’ve been living under rock for the past month then I’m here to tell you, you can feel safe picking anyone for the Tribe.
Chris: Tyler Glasnow makes his return to the mound for the Pirates. Before his demotion to the minors, he had an ERA over 7 and a WHIP of almost 2. He’s been better in the minors, but I’m still picking on him today. Travis Shaw has been showing signs of life. He’s reached base multiple times in 4 of his last 8 games. His wOBA, ISO, and Slugging % are all up 5-10% over the past month vs. his yearlong averages. He has 2 dongs in his last 7 games and is 1 for 3 with a big fly against Glasnow lifetime.
