Johnny G’s MLB DraftKings & FanDuel Home Run Predictions 9-28-17

It’s a 10 game Thursday on September 28th.  Twins at Tribe will start at 12:10 pm ET and Reds at Brewers plays at 4:10.  The remaining 8 games start at 7:00 or later.  There are some interesting pitching matchups to take note of.  Santana at Carrasco starts the day.  Hendricks visits Lynn.  Teheran gets a road start against Peters.  For different reasons, Norris at Covey is intriguing.

Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups.  From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball.  The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 9/28/17:

Chris: If it weren’t for Judge and Altuve, Jose Ramirez would be deep in the MVP conversation.  He’s had a great year and he’s had a great career against Ervin Santana so far.  He’s 11 for 22 with 2 doubles, a triple, 7 RBI, a steal, and just 1 K.  He brings a 4 game hit streak after hitting his 53rd double of the season yesterday.  He has 7 hits during this streak including 2 dongs.

Speaking of 4 game hit streaks, Andrew McCutchen got there last night going 1 for 2 with 2 walks and a run scored.  This after the 4 for 4, 2 grand slam night he had on Monday.  He’s had his way with Edwin Jackson over his career, hitting .417 (15 for 36) over 43 plate appearances.  That includes 3 doubles and 3 home runs.

A moment of silence here in the dong prediction department for the retirement announcement of Matt Cain.  He was one of our favorites, made us look good numerous times, and will be missed.

Who do you think will hit a home run today?  Let us know in the comments!
