Johnny G’s PGA CIMB Classic DraftKings Lineup 10/28/15

Last week’s PGA fantasy golf picks were looking great until Walker collapsed on Sunday. Oh well, still 6/6 making the cut always equals wins in 50/50 contests and a decent tournament showing as well.

This week is the CIMB Classic overseas, which has a WEDNESDAY 7pm start!   So get your lineups ready early this week.

In case you were not following us last year (please join the email list at the end to follow me) let me tell you a little about my DraftKings golf strategy and timeline.

Sunday nights will produce my original posting of 5 golfers who should play well.  Then, when the official DraftKings lineups become available I will release my predictions in order to get you the optimal lineup available to ensure the best finish possible. Now, it does not always work out as planned, but that is DFS golf for you.

CIMB Classic Fantasy Golf Picks – DraftKings DFS

    1. Gary Woodland-  A good showing here last year along with his overall improvement of becoming more than just a big hitter should allow Woodland to compete again at a high level this year.  I think he is getting ready to compete for a PGA Championship if he continues his growth.

    2.  Sergio Garcia – Can he win here?  Sure can.  You never truly know where his head is at, but the bottom line is he is one of the best ball strikers in the last 20 years.  In a small field like this, I like his chances.  In any field that is not a major I like his chances though.

    3.  Ryan Moore-  The back to back defending champ has to be on your short list.  He did not play well last week, and probably will not win 3x in a row, but how far could he fall?  Gotta think he will be a top 10 at least.

    4.  Paul Casey-  Casey ended the last season playing solid golf and was posting consistent high finishes. The consistency is what I like.  Another guy that is on the short list of the next to win a major.  Just stay healthy.

               5.              Danny Lee- Like Casey, he ended the year playing very well. In fact, he played most of last                                         year at a high level and could be in the top 10 world rankings by the end of this year.

Stay tuned for the official Johnny G fantasy golf lineup when the DraftKings contest starts!

3Ryan Moore9900The defending 2x champ! What else is there to say. 50/50 machine play here.
4Carlos Ortiz6800Ortiz is a value pick and played pretty decent at the Frys.com event a few weeks back.
5Justin Thomas9600One of the best young players on the PGA Tour, he should compete to win this week overseas at the CIMB Classic.
6Gary Woodland8700Plays very well here and has the potential to break through. I have him a dark horse for the Ryder Cup this upcoming year. It will take at least 2 victories.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
