Johnny G’s MLB DraftKings & FanDuel Home Run Predictions 9-6-17

The Rangers and Braves plan on playing two today, giving us 16 games for Wednesday, September 6th.  There are 4 games starting during the day and 12 games will make up the main slate.  Lance McCullers Jr returns for the Astros in Seattle.  Maeda hosts the D-Backs.  Gio Gonzalez will try to match Strasburg’s effort in Miami.

Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups.  From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball.  The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 9/6/17:

Garret: Joey Votto is 12 for 35 off of Matt Garza with 2 dingers.  The guy is a hitting machine, it’s fitting he plays for the Reds 🤔.  I’m not sure how Matt Garza still pitches in the big leagues, although I’ll give him credit for almost having some sort of bounce back year.  His last five starts have been brutal, compiling a 9.28 ERA and 15:16 K:BB in 21.1 innings.  Future NL MVP takes him downtown tomorrow.

ChrisKendrys Morales is staying hot.  He now has 5 home runs in his last 6 games.  Today he gets Doug Fister.  Morales has some success against the big righty.  He’s 9 for 27 lifetime with 3 HRs.  Over the last 2 weeks he is averaging a batted ball distance of 231 feet, exit velocity of 92 mph, and his hard hit % is up to a whopping 52%.  The Boston bullpen will be gassed after the marathon last night, so there are opportunities late in the game as well.
