Last Week’s Recap: Hit 3 out of 4 fantasy golf picks at Bay Hill last week, but none that really threatened to win. Either way, a solid week with some decent FedEx Cup points.
Valero Texas Open Fantasy Picks
1. Harris English- One of the up and coming tour stars, I feel he is the perfect guy to dominate in these second tier events that not many of the top 10 guys play in. Not saying the field is weak by any means, as golf is as deep overall as it has ever been.
2. Lucas Glover- If you ask the causal fan about Lucas Glover, not many will know him. Even fewer will know he won the US Open. Anybody that wins the national championship is a great golfer. However, injuries forced him to struggle for a while, and getting your golf swing back after injuries can be daunting to say the least. Just ask Mr. Woods.
3. Kevin Na- Slow and steady. Literally. Guy lurks around and posts some good scores. I like a top 5 this week out of him.
4. Shawn Stefani- A solid ball striker that flies under the radar. Seems to play very well from time to time. This week will be his, as I predict an underdog winner.
As you can see, I went a little off the beaten path with this weeks fantasy golf picks at the Texas Open. Partly to make up ground, and partly since my big shot picks were not really doing me any good either.
