Last week’s recap: Hit a strong T4 with Chris Kirk. Overall 3 out of 4 made the cut. Solid year to date with 10 out of 12 picks making the money. I’m looking to get into the victory column this week though. Let’s not waste any more time.
We need some fantasy golf wins here and hopefully the picks below will do the job. Here they are:
Week 4 – Expert Fantasy Golf Picks – CIMB Classic
1. Hideki Matsuyama – After 2 top 10’s already and a strong 2014, this guy is ready to crack into the top 10 in the world. He will win soon. I think it will be this week. One of the best ball strikers on tour and can win under pressure. I would be shocked if he doesn’t post another top 10.
2. Tim Clark – Playing well and seems healthy. Guy just makes birdies quietly and peacefully. Picking him this week for a good Top 20 finish.
3.Charl Schwartzel – You saw him win the Masters right? Well, then you know he can put it together. Fighting some injuries, but I think he is back and ready to win again. Passes the look test. Wants to win, I see it in his eyes.
4.Gary Woodland – Always a threat to win 2nd tier events, I expect Gary to go low at least one round and threaten the lead all week. Hits the ball a mile and just needs a little craft to be in the hunt more often. And by craft I mean make some damn putts.
Its hard sometimes to pick winners for fantasy golf, especially if you can only pick each guy 10 times during the year. I want to wait until spring to bring in the heavy hitters for all the WGC, The Players, and all 4 Majors.
Good luck with these CIMB fantasy golf picks of the week!
