Well after two weeks Johnny G is 7 out of 8 in his picks making the cut! If hitting almost 88% is good then take a look at my 2014 fantasy golf picks this week.
Week 3 – McGladrey Classic Fantasy Golf Picks
This is a roughly 7000 yard par 70. It is a ball strikers course. Hit straight. Make putts. I wish Corey Pavin was still around.
1. Chris Kirk – Safety pick here. Going with the defending champ. Accurate player who is looking to build on a strong last year.
2. Matt Kuchar – I’d pick him every week, but we can only pick a guy 10 times during the year. Did not want to waste too many on Kuchar early, as he will be needed in the spring time.
3. Ben Curtis – This fellow Kent State alumni was outside the top 125 last year and will be looking to build on getting back inside of that mark. Many non golf fans just remember his British Open win. But the fact is he has had a solid pro career. Many top 25’s with a few other victories and top 5’s sprinkled along the way. This will make him hungry. I expect BC to post a top 70 finish in the FED EX Cup for the year.
4. John Huh – Solid ball striker. Quiet guy. Flies under the radar. Look for him to stand out this week. Hopefully he is not another Anthony Kim and not live up to his potential. Huh could be a Ryder Cup guy in a few years. Speaking of Kim, anyone know if he plans on playing…………..?
