Johnny G’s 2015 Brickyard 400 DraftKings Fantasy Nascar Picks

Welcome Nascar fans!    Johnny G is unveiling his DraftKings Nascar picks this week.  The Crown Royal 400 at the Brickyard is this weekend and it should be a great race.   Let us get down to the picks.

We will focus on a three tier approach:  1.  High Level Driver.  2. Mid Level Driver.  3. Low level Driver.    This will allow you to best balance out your salary cap of $50,000 for 5 race car drivers.

High Level Driver

1. Kevin Harvick – $13,900 – Currently the #1 guy in NASCAR, I know he is expensive this week, but if he does not finish in the top 3 I would be surprised.  Just stay out of trouble.   A more mature racer driver than in his younger days, Harvick tends to avoid trouble very well now. One of the best drivers in the last few years.

Mid Level Driver

1. Clint Bowyer – $8,500 – Sometimes I wonder why Bowyer is not in the top 5 more. He normally has a solid car and a good team, but seems like they just have not been able to get it all together for a good week. Expect that to change this week.

Low Level Driver

1. Danica Patrick – $7,600   At only this price she is actually due to have a near top 10 finish.  While she is a love or hate kind of driver, the most recent pics of her on Instagram doing yoga will make anyone a fan of her off of the race track.

The best thing about DraftKings Fantasy Nascar is you can play for as little as a buck or two or you can wager hundreds or thousands.  The choice is yours!   I like to play the $3 one where the top prize is 100,000.  Good luck!

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
