Johnny G’s 2015 Greenbrier Classic Fantasy Golf Picks

Last Week’s recap:  A late withdrawal by Kisner gave Johnny a chance to snag Bubba Watson. I am not his biggest fan, but we are here to win, so Bubba did great and gave Johnny G two wins in a row.  Let us go for three this week!

2015 Greenbrier Fantasy Golf Expert Picks

1. Kevin Kisner –  A week off will do wonders for him as he will be able to compete in this second tier event this week at the Greenbrier down on WV.  While the event may not get the best golfers, the grounds are beautiful down in White Sulfur Springs West Virginia and there are some great golf trips to the Greenbrier that you should check out.

2. Brendon Todd – A great young talent, Todd should be on your short list of favorites this week. He does everything well and when the putter gets hot he could go low this week.  Look for a 61.

3. Webb Simpson-  Webb has not done as much as he talent level this year, so look for a good summer run for this former US Open champion.

4. JB Holmes – One of the longest hitters on tour, he should not have a shortage of birdies this week. Many of the so-called experts think he could win a PGA or other big tournament soon.  I am not sure he is consistent enough for that yet, but horses for courses, so we shall see.

Sleeper / Longshot of the Week

These kind of picks are great for a DraftKings type league, where you need to do more than just pick the guys in the top 5 in the world every week in order to win.

Steve Stricker –  While he only plays when he feels like it now, Stricks is always a threat with his laser like iron game and putter.  Look for a T7.

Good luck this week! Hopefully my fantasy golf predictions help ya out and win some money or at the very least, some pride.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
