Johnny G’s 2015 Bridgestone Invitational DraftKings Fantasy Golf Picks

Last Week’s recap:  A good tournament at the Quicken Loans National should lead to some excitement this week at Firestone in Akron Ohio. With just a week before the PGA Championship, the guys should be looking to hone their game in front of the year’s last major championship.  Also check out the free contest at DraftKings below!

2015 WGC Bridgestone Draftkings Fantasy Golf Picks

High Value Fantasy Pick –  Jim Furyk  – This guy just loves Firestone. He should have won here a few years ago and is constantly in the top 10.  Also, he is playing pretty well of late and this would be a good tune up ahead of the PGA for him.  If he gets a 2nd major, he is a lock for the hall of fame.

Mid Value Fantasy Pick – Keegan Bradley – While he has not been on form as of late, I think you can get him for a little cheaper this week. He has won here before and placed second the other year when Tiger won.

Low Value Fantasy Pick – Danny Willett-  Willett played very well in the British Open, as well as, some other Euro events, so I look for him to show the rest of the world his solid play this week at the Bridgestone Invitational.

Sleeper Picks for DraftKings – Ryan Palmer – He posted a few decent finishes here and when his iron play is on he can really knock it close. Depending on his salary for the week, I would add him to my team.

Other Choices to Win at Firestone:

1. Adam Scott – He has played a bit better of late and has won the title here before.  Always a threat, he still kind of flies under the radar for some reason.  Maybe it is his crappy putting…

2. Louis Oosthuizen – With two second place finishes in the last two majors, he is a threat any time he tees it up.  This week will be no different. Put the ball in the fairway here and he will make some birdies. Simple as that.

Good luck in your fantasy golf leagues this week at another WGC event.  These have turned out to be good events over the last few years.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
