Johnny G’s 2015 Northern Trust Fantasy Golf Picks

Last Weeks Recap:  Nothing special. All 4 fantasy golfers made the cut, but really did not contend or do a whole lot except Jason Day.  All well, it is still a long golf season, and many big tournaments are left to play.

This Weeks 2015 Northern Trust Open Fantasy Picks

1. Bubba Watson – Like him or not, he is the defending champ.  He has already won once this year and I look for him to have a solid finish again.  Maybe we can see him weeping in joy on the 18th green come Sunday night.

2. Hideki Matsuyama – Laser like irons and driving make him an instant favorite at Riviera, but can he ever putt well enough?  He should have more wins by now, he is that good of a player.

3. Sergio Garcia – Sergio is looking for a major and he will want to start playing well to get his game in order before Augusta.  Always a threat when he is in the field.

4. Charles Howell III – After a solid week 2 weeks ago CHIII is a great ball striker who could contend this week. Also, I need to make up points and not many other guys will pick him.

Sleeper: Good ole Freddy Couples. Loves this course and has played very well here in the past. When playing well, he could still win on the PGA Tour.

Should be an interesting week in fantasy golf. Stay tuned.  Also, rumor has is DL III is named the 2016 Ryder Cup captain for the US!

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
