It is time again! The 2015 College Football season is almost underway. Nothing like some good Thursday night CFB games to get the fantasy season started.
When trying to get my DraftKings Fantasy College Football lineup together I think of a few things. I won’t tell you all of them this week, but remember that great match-ups can make average players very good. With that being said, let us get down to Thursday’s lineup.
September 3, 2015 – CFB Week 1 DraftKings Lineup
Position | Name | Team | Salary | Stats / Notes |
---|---|---|---|---|
QB | Brandon Doughty | Western Kentucky | 9000 | Averaged over 30 FPPG last year. Throws the ball all over the field. |
QB | Mason Rudolph | Ok. State | 8100 | Tons of potential from this young guy. Good backup in Stillwater, so he will have to perform. I love the CMU matchup. |
RB | AJ Ouelette | Ohio U | 6400 | Solid running back who averaged 18 FPPG last year and is going against a team who should give up some yards on the ground. |
RB | Ralph Webb | Vanderbilt | 6500 | Talented running back. I hate him running in the SEC, but WKU is not Alabama. Book him this week! |
WR | Nicholas Norris | Western Kentucky | 3300 | Hard to say which WR's will get the TD's, but there will be plenty. I like Norris as a value play. At least 60 yds. |
WR | David Richards | Arizona | 3600 | A risk here, but I needed salary cap room. He did catch 7 passes last year vs USC. |
WR | Taywan Taylor | Western Kentucky | 4800 | I feel he is the best WR on this team and should be seeing action all night vs Vandy. |
Flex | Kenny Bias | UTSA | 3100 | A sleeper here, but they should be behind the whole game so maybe he will snag a TD for us. |
Flex | David Glidden | Ok. State | 4700 | Glidden had almost 600 yards last year and at this value he could be good against CMU. |

If you are looking for a sleeper pick of the week, try KJ Maye the WR for Minnesota. Could catch a few passes being they will be behind by multiple touchdowns against #2 ranked TCU. Also, check back for updates to this post before game-time. Lots can change so be careful when setting your fantasy players too early in the week then not checking back in.
Hopefully these picks will help you this week. It is a long season, so be sure to check back for all the picks. Also, another post will pick for Saturday 9/5/15. Good luck this week!
