The weekend series kick into full gear on Friday, June 16, 2017. There are some notable pitchers starting in hitter-friendly parks today. Alex Wood starts in Cincinnati, James Paxton starts in Arlington, and Jeff Samardzija is on the bump in Denver.
Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups. From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball. The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.
If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track. Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:
Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 6/16/17:
Alex: Ian Kinsler is 3-11 with 1 HR vs. Ramirez. Kisnler has seen his hard hit percentage rise 9 points in the month of June (up to 45%) and a fly ball rate of 45%. This spells trouble for Ramirez who has only been striking out RHB at 15.8% and surrendering a 1.6HR/9 away from Tampa.
Chris: Tim Adleman has given up 4 HRs in his last 3 starts, including 2 in his last start against the same Dodgers he faces at the Great American Bandbox. He took him deep last time, and I think Cody Bellinger goes yard again. Cody is tearing the cover off the ball. His hard contact rate is 50% over his last 12 games. He has 6 dongs in his last 5 games and now he gets to take his swings in Cincy? Sign me up.
