Johnny G’s MLB DraftKings & FanDuel Home Run Predictions 9/25/17

We roll into the last week of the regular season with 12 games for Monday, September 25th.  The Royals at Yankees and the first of a doubleheader between the Braves and Mets will start in the afternoon.  Counting game two of the double dip, the main slate will have 10 games.  Darvish, Godley, Weaver, Nola, and Pomeranz make up the biggest names taking the mound today.

Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups.  From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball.  The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track.  Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:Hammer wins Fanduel contest

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 9/25/17:

ChrisJose Altuve has had great success against Andrew Cashner.  He’s 8 for 18 lifetime with 2 doubles, a home run and a steal.  The Toov has hit safely in 11 of his last 14 including 2 knocks last night.  His exit velocity is up 4 mph over his last 9 games to 94% and his hard contact rate is up to 48% (up 20%) over the same span.

Justin Smoak is 4 for 9 with a double against Drew Pomeranz.  The Smoak Monster has done damage all year, but hits lefties better.  His wOBA vs. southpaws is a whopping .426 this season.  Over the last 2 weeks, he’s seen his flyball rate move up to 60%.  Coupled with his exit velocity creeping up 3 mph to 96 mph, there’s a good chance Smoaky sends a souvenir home today.

I was very tempted to pick Teoscar Hernandez considering the streak he’s on (dongs in 3 straight games).
