Johnny G’s Nascar DraftKings Cheez It 355 @ Watkins Glen Fantasy Picks

NASCAR at Watkins Glen Fantasy Predictions

The last road course of the year brings us to Watkins Glen, New York. Some funny stuff can happen at these tracks, but two things are certain.  1. You better qualify well and 2. Gas mileage can always come into play.

With that being said, if you are playing in a DraftKings Nascar Fantasy League, be sure to check final qualifying to see where your potential racers qualify. The reason is the point differential for moving up or down positions is huge, so if a good guy qualifies bad, he or she may be a great play that week.

Assuming nothing crazy happens, here is my balanced top 4 drivers for the week.

1. Jimmie Johnson – $8,900 – Seems a good value play and can always win on any track any time.  While not always the best road racer, he can hold his own.

2. Kevin Harvick – $10,000 – Harvick can drive the wheels off of the car, but sometimes it takes a little patience on road tracks. Still, I like him this week.

3. Greg Biffle – $7,400 – At a mid-level pick, I like Biffle to post a top 10 this week. He will keep his car clean and work his way to the top half of the field.  While there are not a ton of cautions, I do worry if he does not qualify well, but again like I said earlier that can be a good thing as well.

4. Boris Said – $6,400 – A road race expert, with this cheap price he makes a great DK sleeper pick of the week.  Also, he allows you to stack your team with at least 2 top drivers while doing so.  If he does not wreck, I expect a 11th place finish or so.

Johnny G loves NASCAR, but I am no expert!

It seems like not many fans know about fantasy Nascar yet.  Check out the great deal below @ DraftKings to get started playing fantasy NASCAR!

Overall, road courses are always fun races to watch. While frustrating at times, we near The Chase and only 16 drivers will have a chance to win it all.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
