Johnny G’s 2015 John Deere Classic Fantasy Golf Picks

Last week’s recap:  So close for another win!  Kisner loses in a playoff, but overall the picks keep on getting better this summer.  Soon I hope to be at the top of my fantasy golf league.

This week is one where a non top 10 guy could win, mainly since not many are playing, but that gives everyone a chance to hit a long-shot! Onto this week’s expert picks:

2015 John Deere Fantasy Golf Predictions

1. Jordan Spieth-  In a tune up event for the British Open, look for Spieth to play loose and fast.  He will have to make a ton of birdies this week, but I expect a top 5.  While he may not be 100% focused, it will be close.

2. Robert Streb- When he gets his putter back who knows what he can do?  Finally people know who Streb is. The guy can golf.  Too bad it took him breaking his putter for people to see it.

3. Ryan Moore – He played well here last year, and tends to win when no one is looking, so why not this week at the John Deere Classic? Go get ’em former UNLV Rebel!

4. Zach Johnson – A near win here last year leads me to think Zach will be ready to make some birdies this week.  While he may never win another major, he does not feel that way and is one of the toughest competitors on tour.

Sleepers and long shots of the week

1. John Huh- Sometimes he plays great. Sometimes he doesn’t. Hopefully this is his week.

2. Bill Lunde- A great sleeper for a league like DraftKings, Lunde can go low from time to time. Expect good things this week.

Just another week until the 2015 British Open.  Cannot wait to see Spieth go for the 3rd leg of the Grand Slam. Until next week golf fans…

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
