OHL Classic at Mayakoba Fantasy Golf Picks – Week 6 2014/2015

Last week’s recap:

Johnny G was close to a victory until Martin Kaymer folded late.  Still a good showing in that world class event, moving 3JA I into 3rd place in his fantasy golf league.  I also looked for David Toms to win over at Sanderson, and he ended up around the top 10, after posting a 36 hole lead.

Either way, not too bad of a showing.  Moving on to the last tournament in the fall series, we will see who is hungry to get their golf year off to a hot start.

This week’s picks for the OHL Classic at Mayakoba

1. Will Mackenzie – Coming off a top 3 finish a few weeks ago, WMac looks to keep posting good finishes. He has been through a lot, Google it for more info, so we are really pulling for the guy. A class act and great golfer.

2. Charles Howell III– Picking CHIII again, he normally starts off the year hot, but has not done so yet. So I feel he is due.  We shall see. When will this guy win again?

3. Fredrik Jacobson- One of best putters around, Jacobson should be in contention here as he makes a good number of birdies.

4. Rory Sabbatini- I am not a fan of him at all.  But he does cash checks, and lots of them. I look for a Top 5 from this guy this week. He just hits the ball too well not to be in contention on a course like this.  Many birdies await.

It might take -20 under par to win down there. Overall, it is a good tournament to end the fall series and many of these guys will be looking at making a run at next year’s President’s Cup, so don’t be mistaken, these guys want to win and will take advantage of the fact not many of the world’s highest ranking golfers are playing.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
